Coastal Lore was born from the vision of a humble adventurer who set out to share the art and stories of Creators with the world- something people can wear and connect with. Along the misty cliffs, tidepools, evergreen shores, and snow-capped mountains, local artists find inspiration in the land they call home. And each stroke, photo, and design carries that heart. Coastal Lore is vessel to let those voices be seen and worn beyond the wilds.
We believe art should be alive—with joy, with passion, with the human touch that machines can't mimic. Every design we create seeks to inspire, to spark connection, and to root people more deeply to where and amongst whom they live. Our apparel is a collaboration of the creativity of local artists, carrying forward the legends, landscapes, animals and mysteries of the coast.
Mission
Coastal Lore's mission is to create wearable art that carries the soul of the Pacific Northwest (and beyond)—its stories, spirits, and settings—by partnering with local artists and delivering handcrafted visuals that resonate with nature, myths, consciousness, mystery of the unknown and the human journey.
Community
More than just apparel, Coastal Lore is a bridge between artists and the wider world. Many gifted creators pour their energy into their craft, but struggle to share their work beyond the studio. Social media and online marketing can be overwhelming, and too often incredible talent remains unseen. That’s where we step in. Coastal Lore creates a space where art and audience meet—uniting the power of the internet, social media, and community support with the vision of local artists. We give artists the opportunity to share their work with a world that might not have found them otherwise, and a portion of every sale goes back to the artist.
