We didn't make Coastal Lore to be a glossy outdoor brand.
We built Coastal Lore for the art lovers, the dreamers, and the kids who spent entire childhoods running wild in the woods with their friends and accidentally grew up.
We are still out there today. We are skateboarding in the sun, climbing granite faces, and hiking until our boots fall apart, using every ounce of those experiences to fuel what we create. The mountains, the birds, and the wildlife moving through the treeline are the direct sparks for our designs.
Our apparel functions as a raw collaboration with the local artists who live these exact experiences and chronicle them by hand. We believe art should have teeth and be alive with the messy, imperfect human touch that machines can't clone. These are the living legends and rain-soaked mysteries of the places we call home, printed onto clothing meant to be lived in.
Mission
Our mission is to build clothing that functions as wearable art, rooted in the actual stories, wildlife, and mysteries of the Pacific Northwest. We partner directly with local artists to create raw, handmade designs that tap into the supernatural, the unknown, and the shared experience of getting out into the wild. No corporate shortcuts, no sterile graphics. Just honest art made by real humans, meant to chronicle the places we call home.
Community
We see how much energy independent creators pour into their craft, and we know how exhausting it is to fight algorithms or worry about marketing just to get that work out of the studio.
Coastal Lore exists to take that weight off their shoulders. We use our platform to handle the logistics, the printing, and the digital noise so local artists can focus entirely on what they do best. It gives incredible talent a direct path to the people who will appreciate it most. Best of all, a portion of every single sale goes right back into the artist's pocket, keeping the local creative community sustainable, independent, and funded.
