Refund Policy

Effective Date: October 23, 2025

​1. Made-to-Order Products

​

All items on Coastal Lore are produced on demand. This means each item is custom manufactured just for your order. Because of this, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges for products due to “change of mind”, wrong size/color selected by the customer, or simple preference changes.

2. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Items

​

Your satisfaction is a priority. If you receive an item that is defective (e.g., print misplacement outside of tolerance, printing error, damage in transit) or which does not match your order (wrong design, size, or product type), we will work to make things right:

 

  • Please contact us at info@coastallore.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and clear photo(s) showing the issue.

  • No need to return the item to us.

  • Upon verification, we will offer either a free replacement or a refund

 

3. Shipping & Lost Packages

 

If your item does not arrive:

 

  • If tracking shows the order was delivered but you did not receive it, contact us as soon as possible. We’ll work with the print provider to investigate and determine if a re-print or refund is appropriate.

  • If you provided an incorrect address, you may be responsible for any reshipment costs.

 

4. Non-Defective Returns/Exchanges

 

Since products are made to your specification at the time of order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for non-defective items (e.g., wrong size chosen, wrong color, simply changed your mind).

If you wish, we may offer a store credit at our discretion—but this is not guaranteed and is subject to our review.

 

5. How to Request a Refund or Replacement

 

To submit a claim:

 

  • Email us at info@coastallore.com with your order number, description of the issue, and photo(s).

  • Once submitted, we will respond within 48 hours.

  • If approved, refunds are issued via the original payment method or as store credit—be sure to allow standard processing time from your bank or payment provider.

 

6. Timing & Conditions

 

  • Claims for defective/damaged items must be submitted within 30 days of delivery for domestic orders.

  • Items must be unused and in the condition you received them (unless the issue is damage or manufacturing defect).

  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund or replacement if the damage is due to misuse, customer error (e.g., wrong size/color choice), or if the claim is submitted after the allowed timeframe.
