Painted as an exercise on perspective, I loved the starkness of the landscape and the sense of adventure of the open road. Every kind of place has its beauty. The winding road, the brush, the mountains in the distance, the setting sun. It's a simple view, but reminds me of road trips and new horizons that can punctuate our lives and make us who we are. It's about the journey, not the destination, right?
